The schedule for the 42nd annual World Series of Poker has been released and this year’s edition of the famed tournament series is set to consist of 58 gold bracelet events spread over 50 days commencing from May 31.
Effel revealed that last year’s edition of the WSOP generated the highest number of entries as 72,966 players, which was a 20 percent year-on-year increase, from 117 different countries competed for more than $187 million in 57 championship gold bracelet events.
The annual poker extravaganza dates back to 1970 and will be televised exclusively on ESPN from the Rio
